On Dec. 14, the U.S. Electoral College vote in every state had a "twist". At least seven states had "double voting" at the same time, with the state's electoral college voting for Biden while the Republican electoral college voted for Trump. Trump's staffers said that once the Trump team won any of the election fraud cases, these "alternative" votes could be recognized by Congress.
Republican electors in 7 states voted for Trump
According to state election officials 14 certification results, Biden received 306 electoral votes, Trump received 232. However, this does not mean that Biden has won.
On the same day, Republican electors in at least seven states, in addition to the Electoral College designated by state election officials, announced that they were casting "alternative" votes for President Trump and Vice President Pence.
Conservative media outlet OAN Weekly Briefing host Christina Bobb, who is also a member of the OAN team, said that the election is a "good one. In a tweet, Christina Bobb noted that Republican electors in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico voted for Trump. This reserves the right for President Trump to correct election fraud.
Stephen Miller, a Trump staffer, told Fox News that the Dec. 14 Electoral College vote does not mean the end of the general election process.
He said the Trump team will send the alternate votes to Congress, and they will be recognized by Congress once the Trump team wins any of the election fraud cases in court.
The Republican vote is a conditional vote, a procedural vote. There is precedent for this in U.S. history, with Pennsylvania Republicans citing the 1960 presidential election between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy, in which the Democratic Electoral College cast a conditional vote for Kennedy when the Electoral College met.
"We took this procedural vote to preserve any legal claims that might have been preserved." "This is in no way an attempt to usurp or contest the will of the voters of Pennsylvania," Pennsylvania Trump campaign chairman Bernie Comfort said at a news conference.
"It is the obligation of the people of Michigan and the U.S. Constitution to send out another set of electors if the election is contested or contested and the election dispute is clearly a fact." Michigan Republican elector Meshawn Maddox (D) Meshawn Maddock (D) said in a press release.
Nevada's Republican elector, meanwhile, tweeted, "History was made today."
In response to the Electoral College vote, President Trump made clear that the election is far from over and will continue to be fought. Currently, the Supreme Court has taken up the George Asia election fraud case, and fraud cases in other states continue to move forward.
The Constitution gives President Trump the prerogative to save America
The U.S. election was seriously fraudulent and the right to vote, which represents the cornerstone of free democracy, was trampled on, yet the Justice Department and the FBI stood by and did nothing about it, and the legislative system - Congress - is facing a similar crisis, with some lawmakers afraid to speak out because of the threat of fear. The U.S. Supreme Court's Dec. 11 decision dismissing the Texas lawsuit is seen as a red alert of a constitutional crisis in the United States.
The Epoch Times feature article, "Delivering Justice: Saving America by Exercising Presidential Prerogative," points out that the betrayal of the executive system, the retreat of the judicial system, and the cowardice of the legislative system all point to a constitutional crisis that could see the Trump camp's attempts to overturn fraudulent election results sniped by leftist forces, whether through state or federal legislative channels or judicial litigation.
However, even if the executive, legislature and judiciary fail to do justice, Trump still has his constitutional presidential prerogative. The feature article points out that at this urgent moment of the war between good and evil and the U.S. constitutional crisis, President Trump's exercise of the special powers granted by the Constitution and the law may be the only way to save America.
On December 1, a full-page ad in the Washington Times by the We the People Congress (WTPC), a U.S. civil society organization, cited President Abraham Lincoln's extraordinary contribution to saving America during the Civil War and called on President Trump to exercise his special presidential powers to save America, just as President Lincoln did.
