美国各州选举人12月14日在大选舞弊抗议声中投票，选出总统和副总统。川普先前主打诉讼案的宾州、密西根州、乔治亚州、威斯康辛州、亚利桑那州和内华达州，全部投给了拜登。结果是拜登306票，川普232票。
不过，由于拜登阵营曝出有预谋、大范围的舞弊行为，川普的法律团队已经收集到大量选举舞弊的证据，正在多个摇摆州提起法律诉讼。有部分州的共和党党团，紧急推出了自己的选举人，把票投给了川普与彭斯。
当天的投票结果出现了“一个州、两套结果”的特殊场面。这场投票的结果将于1月6日由美国国会确认。
麦康奈尔阵前倒戈
然而，在这关键时刻，共和党的资深大佬、参议院多数党领袖麦康奈尔突然阵前倒戈。
麦康奈尔15日承认拜登是总统当选人，并呼吁共和党内部，不要在1月6日当天反对国会对选举人票的认证。他还警告共和党的参议员们，不要加入共和党众议员对选举人票的挑战行动，否则会让他们处于相当不利的地位。
麦康奈尔此举引发诸多谴责。社交媒体上，有川普支持者表示，要让麦康奈尔知道，“我们不认同他承认拜登当选的心态”。
川普16日凌晨发表转发推文称，川普的盟友在谴责麦康奈尔祝贺拜登。川普还说，自己赢得7500万张选票，创下在任总统得票纪录。麦康奈尔太早放弃了。共和党必须最终学会战斗。人民在愤怒！
前国家安全顾问迈克‧弗林（Mike Flynn）将军告诉川普说：在美国历史上这个关键时刻，数百万、数百万、数百万的爱国者站在你的身后、身旁、身前。“我们不会像共和党内的某些人那样失败或畏缩。”
据报导，麦康奈尔在关键时刻背叛川普，其背后可能有深层内幕。
据媒体揭露，麦康奈尔的夫人、运输部长赵小兰，其家族跟中共高层关系密切，赵父和中共前党魁江泽民是校友。而拜登方面也是跟中共往来密切，所以麦康奈尔在最后一刻投向拜登，并不意外。
赵小兰家族和北京关系密切
赵小兰出生在台湾，会说流利的中文，是美国第一位华裔出身的联邦政府部长。
去年6月3日，《纽约时报》通过采访、查阅行业备案和政府文件发表长文，披露赵小兰以及她家族企业福茂集团和北京政商界关系密切。
报导称，赵氏家族与中共的关系可以追溯到几十年前。赵小兰的父亲赵锡成在1949年共产党掌权前逃离中国，之前曾一度和江泽民是同校同学。
赵家后来入股一家国有海事电子设备制造商。该公司主要面向中共军方及其它部门进行销售，且与当时江泽民任部长的电子工业部关系密切。
江后来成为中共领导人后，赵锡成至少与江6次会面，其中包括1989年8月，中共六四屠城后，他在中南海与江会面。当时，中共正面临国际社会的经济制裁。
报导说，赵氏家族企业福茂集团部分货船由中国国有造船厂建造，其中一些是由中共政府贷款提供的资金。根据2019年的航运数据，福茂的货物中超过70%被运往中国，其中大部分是铁矿石。
随着赵小兰政治声望的提升，中共寻求拉拢赵家。一家中共官方出版社近年出版了她父母的授权传记，还举办有中共高官出席的发布仪式。2018年赵小兰访问北京时，中共交通部长送了两幅她父母的手绘肖像画。
此外，在美国交通部长的任命听证会上，参议院要求提名者列出所有荣誉职位，但赵小兰没有提及她的家族与中方联系，也没有披露她在中国获得的荣誉，比如中共武汉市政府的国际顾问一职。
赵小兰被调查
去年9月16日，美国众议院监督和政府改革委员会宣布，赵小兰正接受调查。她被指运用在川普（特朗普）政府内阁的位置，令她家族的船务生意获益。由于她家族的船务公司和北京一向被指关系密切，加上麦康奈尔是她的丈夫，这次调查可能牵连甚广。
2020年6月份，赵小兰出售了Vulcan股票。市场数据显示，从2018年4月赵小兰曾表示将套现股票，到6月3日卖出股票，Vulcan股价上涨超过16%，她净赚超过5万美元。
12月15日，《华尔街日报》报导说，众议院监督和改革委员会正在对赵小兰是否利用她作为交通部长的身份为其家人谋取利益展开道德调查。
调查的范围包括：赵小兰利用官职提升了福茂集团在中共政府中的影响力和地位；以及中共政府向福茂集团提供了数亿美元的低息贷款，用于购买悬挂外国国旗的船舶等。
McConnell betrays Trump, wife Zhao Xiaolan's family ties with China revealed

When President Trump's team was taking legal action against Democratic candidate Joe Biden for fraud, senior Republican Party boss McConnell suddenly backtracked, not only conceding Biden's election to the presidency, but also warning the Republican Party not to resist internally. This has led to many condemnations. According to reports, his wife Zhao Xiaolan's family has had considerable dealings with senior Chinese Communist Party officials.
U.S. state electors voted on Dec. 14 to elect a president and vice president amid protests of election fraud. Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada, where Trump previously anchored his lawsuit, all voted for Biden. The result was 306 votes for Biden and 232 votes for Trump.
However, due to the premeditated and widespread fraud exposed by the Biden camp, Trump's legal team has gathered a large amount of evidence of election fraud and is filing legal actions in several swing states. The Republican caucus in some states, in an emergency, put up their own electors and voted for Trump and Pence.
The results of the day's voting showed a special scene of "one state, two sets of results". The results of the vote will be confirmed by the U.S. Congress on Jan. 6.

McConnell's fall from grace
However, at this critical moment, the senior Republican big brother, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell suddenly fell in front of the front.
McConnell recognized Biden as the president-elect on January 15 and called on the Republican Party not to oppose the certification of electoral votes by Congress on January 6. He also warned Republican senators not to join Republican House members in challenging the electoral vote action, or they would be put at a considerable disadvantage.
McConnell's move sparked many condemnations. On social media, some Trump supporters said to let McConnell know that "we don't share his mentality of acknowledging Biden's election."
Trump published a retweet early on the 16th that Trump's allies were condemning McConnell for congratulating Biden. Trump also said he won 75 million votes, a record for an incumbent president. McConnell gave up too soon. The Republican Party must finally learn to fight. The people are angry!
Former national security adviser Gen. Mike Flynn told Trump that millions, millions, millions of patriots are standing behind you, beside you, in front of you at this critical moment in American history. "We're not going to fail or cower like some people in the Republican Party."
According to the report, there may be a deep inside story behind McConnell's betrayal of Trump at a critical moment.
According to media revelations, McConnell's wife, Transportation Secretary Zhao Xiaolan, has a family with close ties to top Chinese Communist Party officials, and Zhao's father is an alumnus with former Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin. Biden is also close to the Chinese Communist Party, so it is not surprising that McConnell voted for Biden at the last minute.
Zhao Xiaolan's family has close ties with Beijing
Born in Taiwan, Zhao Xiaolan speaks fluent Chinese and is the first U.S. federal government secretary of Chinese descent.
On June 3 last year, the New York Times published a lengthy article through interviews, industry filings and government documents, revealing that Chao and her family business, the Formosa Group, have close ties to Beijing's political and business communities.
According to the report, the Zhao family's ties to the Chinese Communist Party date back decades. Zhao Xiaolan's father, Zhao Xicheng, fled China before the Communist Party took power in 1949, and was at one point a schoolmate of Jiang Zemin.
Zhao's family later took a stake in a state-owned manufacturer of maritime electronic equipment. The company sold mainly to the Communist Party's military and other sectors and had close ties to the Ministry of Electronics Industry, of which Jiang Zemin was then minister.
Zhao Xicheng met with Jiang at least six times after Jiang became leader of the CCP, including in August 1989 in Zhongnanhai after the CCP's June 4 massacre. At the time, the Chinese Communist Party was facing economic sanctions from the international community.
The report said that some of the cargo ships of Zhao's family-owned Fumao Group were built by Chinese state-owned shipbuilders, some of which were financed by loans from the Communist government. More than 70 percent of Formosa's cargo is shipped to China, most of it iron ore, according to 2019 shipping data.
As Zhao Xiaolan's political popularity has grown, the CCP has sought to draw in the Zhao family. An official Communist Party publisher has published authorized biographies of her parents in recent years, and held release ceremonies attended by senior Communist Party officials. when Zhao Xiaolan visited Beijing in 2018, the Communist Party's transportation minister gave her two hand-painted portraits of her parents.
In addition, during the hearing on the appointment of the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, the Senate asked nominees to list all honorary positions, but Zhao Xiaolan did not mention her family's ties to China or disclose the honors she received in China, such as the position of international advisor to the Communist Party's Wuhan municipal government.

Zhao Xiaolan under investigation
On Sept. 16 of last year, the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform announced that Zhao Xiaolan was under investigation. She is alleged to have used her position in the Trump administration's cabinet to benefit her family's shipping business. The investigation is likely to be wide-ranging because of the alleged close ties between her family's shipping company and Beijing, and because McConnell is her husband.
In June 2020, Zhao Xiaolan sold Vulcan shares. Market data show that from April 2018, when Zhao Xiaolan had said she would cash out her shares, to June 3, when she sold them, Vulcan shares rose more than 16 percent, netting her more than $50,000.
On Dec. 15, the Wall Street Journal reported that the House Oversight and Reform Committee is launching an ethics investigation into whether Chao used her position as secretary of transportation to benefit her family.
The scope of the investigation includes Zhao Xiaolan's use of her official position to promote the influence and position of the Formosa Group in the Chinese Communist government; and the hundreds of millions of dollars in low-interest loans that the Chinese government provided to the Formosa Group for the purchase of foreign-flagged ships.
