Pompeo said, "'America First' policy is deeply conscious of the fact that the full responsibility of the U.S. government lies in protecting the American people. I know that when we do that, we also enhance the security of all people around the globe, and I'm confident in that."
In addition, the Trump administration withdrew from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.N. Commission on Human Rights and shed the World Trade Organization (WTO). Pompeo said this is all in defense of American prosperity and security. "Our task every day is to think about how we can make sure that everything we do protects the freedom of Americans."
Pompeo believes that everything the Trump administration does for the American people is the right thing to do, and he believes 75 million Trump supporters will always remember that.
