据中国大陆媒体报导，中共肺炎疫情近日在河北和黑龙江迅速加重，仅1月13日一天内，即新增本土确诊病例124例。其中，河北有81例，包括1人死亡，这是此波疫情中首个死亡病例。
黑龙江省卫健委则于14日宣布，该省在13日新增确诊43例，无症状感染者68人，单日新增感染人数破百，使该省成为中国国内除河北以外的第二个疫情爆发热点地区。
黑龙江省政府同时宣布，从即日起，全省进入“紧急状态”，并下令省内3750多万居民“原地不动”，居家隔离，其中人口达500万的绥化市已于周一宣布封城。
黑龙江省重灾区绥化市望奎县的居民李慧在接受自由亚洲电台采访时说，该县官方宣布目前只有56例无症状感染者，但好几个小区都封锁了。她说，“我们家里人现在都发现疫情了，封了六十多个小区”。
黑龙江省首府哈尔滨市居民刘洋则透露说，现在就连进当地社区内的超市都要先测体温，必须戴口罩，还要登记，否则不让你进去购物。
中共国家卫生健康委员会新闻发言人米锋13日在疫情新闻发布会上对媒体表示，根据当前国内多地报告的本土散发病例和聚集性疫情，全国的疫情呈现出持续时间长、涉及范围广、传播速度快、患者年龄大、农村比例高等特征，有些地方已出现社区传播、多代传播。
据台湾《自由时报》报导，目前，虽然河北省石家庄市、邢台市、廊坊市以及黑龙江全省均采取了严厉封锁措施，但北京、陕西、山西、天津、武汉、安徽、贵州等省市仍然通报，有河北确诊病例的行动轨迹，其中有5省已出现相关病例，这显示，大陆的疫情恐持续向全国各地蔓延。

The Communist pneumonia (COVID-19) outbreak in China's Hebei and Heilongjiang provinces has suddenly accelerated in recent days, with more than 100 new infections in Heilongjiang on Wednesday (13). The province ordered nearly 40 million people in the province to be quarantined at home pending large-scale nucleic acid testing. However, the city closure has failed to stop the spread of the outbreak, and cases have been reported in at least five other provinces.
According to media reports in mainland China, the Communist Party's pneumonia epidemic has rapidly worsened in Hebei and Heilongjiang, with 124 new local cases confirmed in just one day on Jan. 13. Among them, 81 cases, including one death, were reported in Hebei, the first death in this wave of the epidemic.
The Heilongjiang Provincial Health Commission announced on the 14th that the province had 43 new confirmed cases and 68 asymptomatic infections on the 13th, making the province the second hotspot for outbreaks in China, in addition to Hebei.
The Heilongjiang provincial government also declared a "state of emergency" for the province from now on, and ordered more than 37.5 million residents in the province to "stay put" and quarantine their homes, with Suihua, a city with a population of 5 million, declared closed on Monday.
In an interview with Radio Free Asia, Li Hui, a resident of Wangkui County in Suihua, the hardest-hit city in Heilongjiang Province, said officials in the county have declared only 56 cases of asymptomatic infection, but several neighborhoods have been sealed off. She said, "Our family members have now found out about the outbreak, and more than 60 neighborhoods have been sealed off."
Liu Yang, a resident of Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, revealed that even supermarkets in the local community now require a temperature test, a mask, and registration, or you will not be allowed to shop.
Speaking to the media at a press conference on the epidemic, Mi Feng, spokesman for the National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China, said that according to the local epidemic cases and aggregated epidemics reported in many places in China, the national epidemic shows characteristics of long duration, wide scope, fast spread, large age of patients and high rural proportion, and in some places, community transmission and multi-generational transmission have occurred.
According to the Taiwan Free Times, at present, although Shijiazhuang, Xingtai, Langfang in Hebei Province and the whole province of Heilongjiang have taken severe blockade measures, Beijing, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Tianjin, Wuhan, Anhui, Guizhou and other provinces and cities are still reporting that there is a track of action of confirmed cases in Hebei, of which five provinces have already seen related cases, which shows that the epidemic in the mainland fears to continue to spread throughout the country.
